Using Your Recorded Lectures to Flip Your Class

Many instructors recorded lectures for asynchronous classes during the past year, and we know those are valuable resources that could help us “flip” our classes. But how can we ensure that our students really engage with these lectures and are prepared to use what they’ve learned when they come to class? In this workshop, we will consider the best strategies for flipping your classroom so that students get the most out of both the lectures they watch on their own and their time with us in class. You will leave with a set of concrete ideas for a flipped classroom approach to improve student engagement and learning.
